Woman arrested for two armed robberies in Ridgeland

RIDGELAND, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Ridgeland police arrested a Mendenhall woman for two armed robberies.

The Madison County Journal reported Ahmarionna Thornton, 22, was charged with two counts of armed robbery.

According to police, Thornton robbed the Shell gas station on East County Line Road on August 1 and the Liquor Lodge off off South Pear Orchard Road on August 8. She was arrested on August 11.

Thornton is currently being held in the Madison County Detention Center. Her bond was set at $300,000.
