    Sports Zone Saturday: Early season tests for college football teams

    OXFORD, Miss. ( WJTV ) – College football returns to Mississippi for the 2024 season! The Sports Zone team has special coverage ahead of this week’s games.

    The Sports Zone Saturday show will air from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on WJTV 12 News and on WREG.

    No. 6 Ole Miss will face Middle Tennessee at home on Saturday, September 7. The game will kickoff at 3:15 p.m. CT and can be watched on the SEC Network.

    Mississippi State will be on the road and will face Arizona State on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 9:30 p.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN.

    Southern Miss will face Southeastern at home on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN+.

    Jackson State will face Southern at home on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN+.

    Alcorn State will be on the road and will face Vanderbilt University on Saturday. The game will kickoff 6:30 p.m. CT and can be watched on EPSN-U.

    The Memphis Tigers will face Troy at home on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 11:00 a.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN-U.

    No. 14 Tennessee will be on the road and will face No. 24 NC State on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT and can be watched on ABC.

    Arkansas will be on the road and will face No. 16 Oklahoma State on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 11:00 a.m. CT and can be watched on ABC.
