CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) – The Cuyahoga Job and Family Services (CJFS) is ready to help families who are on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) and affected by Tuesday’s storms.

Many in Northeast Ohio are not expected to have power restored until sometime next week.

For people who receive SNAP benefits, replacement requests can be submitted within 10 days for people who lost power for 4 hours or more.

The amount of the replacement is based on the amount of food that was lost, up to a maximum of one month’s allotment.
