    Storms led to flooding, power outages across NE Ohio

    RAVENNA, Ohio (WJW) — Storms rolled through much of Northeast Ohio once again Saturday afternoon/evening, just one week after five confirmed tornados ravaged the area .

    Portage County was reportedly hit pretty hard with rain, leading to multiple reports of flooded areas. However, the Ravenna Fire Department confirmed to FOX 8 much of the flooding has receded in their area and that things have quieted down.

    Portage County residents can report storm damage on the county’s government website.

    The National Weather Service had issued a Flash Flood Warning for the following counties through 12:45 a.m. Sunday: Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Portage. Other counties were also under a Flood Advisory, both those have since expired.

    People are reminded to never drive through roadways that appear to be flooded with high water.

    On top of the flooding, FirstEnergy reported thousands of their Northeast Ohio customers were without power. As of 2 p.m. Sunday, there are still more than 3,000 Cuyahoga County customers dealing with an outage. See the latest on power outages right here .
