PHOTOS: Hulk Hogan makes stop in Northeast Ohio

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — Hulk Hogan was back in Northeast Ohio on Tuesday as part of a promotional tour for his new beer. Yes, beer.

The 71-year-old WWE legend was spotted at the Giant Eagle in North Canton on Tuesday afternoon promoting what is described as a “premium American-made light lager” he’s dubbed “Real American Beer” (after the lyrics to his theme song).

This is the 10th state in which the 4.2% ABV beer has been launched.

To celebrate, Hogan started making appearances Monday, and is continuing throughout the week , including a stop in Kent at the Water Street Tavern from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

At the North Canton event, he met with fans of all ages and even signed some 12-packs for those 21 and older.

Hogan spoke with FOX 8 at the event, explaining the idea for the beer was to bring people together — even those who don’t agree.

“Maybe we’re a lot more alike than we are different,” he said.
