(WKBN/WJW) — The International Space Station (ISS) will be paying a visit to Northeast Ohio skies multiple times this week.

If you have never seen the ISS in the sky before, this could be the perfect opportunity, but first, you need to know how to view it.

The ISS will appear somewhere over the horizon and move higher in the sky. The best time to view it is when it reaches its peak in the sky (66° in the example). The closer the peak is to 90°, then the higher it is in the sky and the easier it is to view it. Then, the ISS will descend and eventually disappear at some point in the sky.
