HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – County music took enter stage at the Country for NOAS Kids Music Festival Saturday.

The artist lineup included Alex Seier, HampShyre, Nestor Andress, Tyler Conti and Chris Higbee.

The concert took place at the Griffin-Sloas Airfield in Howland off North River Road near the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum. Volunteers braved the rain setting up for the big event Friday.

The family-friendly event also included food trucks and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the event will go to support NOAS families.

NOAS is an organization in Warren that supports families and children through foster care and adoption.

“So the money goes to support our mission and to help our families have children in their homes and there’s a large shortage of foster families throughout the United States but in Northeast Ohio which is where NOAS serves,” said NOAS communications director Nikole Baringer.

More than 420 tickets were sold for the festival.
