    1 hurt in Youngstown shooting

    YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Police were on the scene Monday afternoon of a shooting at Albert and State streets.

    A person was wounded and was sent to St. Elizabeth Health Center. Their condition is unknown.

    Albert Street was shut down at Verona Avenue and McGuffey Road.

    Officers and detectives examined a 1032 State St. home that had its front door shattered by gunfire.

    Police marked about 30 shell casings in the road on Albert Street between State Street and Star Street.
