‘Seek and destroy’: Valley Boxer ready for milestone bout

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown boxer Danny “Feel Good Hollywood” Rosenberger weighed in for his main event fight at Vernon’s Cafe in Niles Friday afternoon.

Rosenberger highlights a card of seven professional fights. The fights will be held at the historic Packard Music Hall in Warren on Saturday, Aug. 10.

“Prizefighter Boxing, we put on shows, expect fireworks,” said Rosenberger. “Very competitive, very great and hope to put a great crowd on.”

The Valley boxer goes against Gabriel Escalante, with a record of 14-2 (7 KOs). Escalante is from Nicaragua and stands at 6’3″.

Rosenberger weighed in at 153.5 lbs and Escalante at 152.5 lbs. The fight will be held at 154 pounds and last for eight rounds.

“Seek and destroy, we come to win,” said Rosenberger.

The Valley boxer currently has 19 wins, 9 losses and 4 draws (10 KOs). He will fight on Saturday for his 15th consecutive win and 20th overall win.

“I hope people see what Prizefighter Boxing is trying to do, try to bring great boxing back to our area where it originated,” said Rosenberger . “It’s here, it never went away. It’s here and I want everybody to see that tomorrow.”

Fights start at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Packard Music Hall in Warren.
