    Penguins tennis player named YSU Scholar Athlete

    YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown State University junior Will Rassat is being recognized as a YSU Scholar Athlete.

    Rassat was a First Team All-Conference player at Ashland before joining the Penguins’ tennis program last season.

    Rassat won 15 singles matches in his first year at YSU and seven more as a doubles player.

    He also helped lead YSU as a team to nine wins, including seven at home, and helped the Penguins earn a 3-seed in the Horizon League Tournament.
