Health fair for senior citizens at the Covelli Centre

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – At the Covelli Centre, older adults can learn more about the local resources available to them.

There are incentives for attendance, including lunch, prizes and entertainment. They’re also offering free health screenings including vision, bone density and A1C screenings.

“We’re concerned with making sure that all seniors are included those that are home-bound that can come out so we have different events that really take care of both of those needs,” said Krishmu Simpson, of Saving Our Seniors of the Mahoning Valley.

The event goes until 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
