Students back to campus for YSU Move-in Day

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Summer is nearing an end, and Youngstown State University is preparing for the upcoming academic year.

Wednesday was move-in day for new YSU Penguins.

Many of the new students are looking forward to new beginnings.

“The opportunity, the programs and stuff are really good. I was a little nervous at first with the class load and everything like that, but I’m really excited about living on my own and be a little more independent,” said Emmy Jones, a freshman pre-med major.

The first day of classes for YSU is Monday.
