Vehicle show featuring vintage aircraft to raise money for Columbiana County Dog Pound

MADISON TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Members of the Columbiana County Airport Authority are gearing up for a big weekend — Wings-N-Wheels is this Saturday.

It’s a car, plane and bike show for a cause.

Organizers are expecting several hundred show cars and dozens of planes and motorcycles to fill the ground at the Columbiana County Airport.

“Probably eight, ten, maybe even 12 World War II vintage aircraft will be here and our center is a TBM Avenger,” said Bruce Mays, with the Columbiana County Airport Authority.

Attendees can also enjoy food, music and a silent auction.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and is free to attend.

All the money raised this year through the auction and donations will benefit the Columbiana County Dog Pound and Adoption Center. You can even adopt a dog at the event.

If you bring a dog item to donate, you can get a free auction ticket.
