Valley luck continues with another 50th Anniversary scratch-off $10K winner

NEW SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — Another lottery player recently won $10,000 locally by playing the Ohio Lottery’s 50th Anniversary scratch-off.

The winner purchased their ticket at a Swift Mart on Woodworth Road in New Springfield.  After mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28%, they will take home approximately $7,200.

50th Anniversary is a $50 scratch-off that has a top prize of $600,000 a year for 25 years. As of Aug. 21, there were two top prizes remaining in the game.

The 50th Anniversary scratch-off has proved to be a lucky one for the Valley, with another $10,000 ticket winner earlier in the month. That winning ticket was bought at a Speedway on Kirk Road in Youngstown.
