VIENNA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A warning if you drive through Vienna Township in Trumbull County.

Citations will start being issued Thursday for people caught speeding on camera.

The speed cameras have been in use since last month but up until Thursday, only warnings were given out.

The cameras will mainly be on State Route 11, State Route 82, State Route 193, Niles-Vienna Road and Warren-Sharon Road. As of now, they won’t be used in neighborhoods.

The cameras are being used to try and recoup over $1 million in funds for the township which was placed in fiscal emergency by the state.
