    Grand Bay Fire District sets ‘Firetruck Foodies’ event, featuring 14 food trucks, local vendors

    MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Grand Bay Fire District will host its first Firetruck Foodies event, allowing attendees to “feast on diverse food” and “save lives,” a GBFD spokesperson told News 5.

    The event is scheduled for 5-9 p.m. June 7 at the Grand Bay Fire Rescue Department, located at 8425 Grand Bay Wilmer Road.

    LOCATION:

    According to an event flyer, attendees can “feast on diverse food from food trucks, explore unique goods from local vendors, enjoy family activities, and donate blood to save lives at the event.”

    A spokesperson said the event will feature approximately 14 food truck vendors, Mobile County EMS, Lifesouth Blood Bank, and others.

    There will be a bounce house for kids, and plans are in place to set up a raffle for donations.
