    Pensacola man arrested after beating woman, spitting at deputy: ECSO Arrest Report

    ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A Pensacola man was arrested after he allegedly beat a woman and tried to spit at a deputy, according to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

    30-year-old Jaquize Dominic Faheem Balwin was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 11, and charged with felony battery and simple assault on specified personnel.

    On Sunday, deputies were called by a woman who was concerned about a family member because the woman had missed over 10 phone calls.

    When the woman finally saw the female family member, she noticed her face had been “beaten, was swollen, and had a possible broken nose,” according to the arrest report.

    Deputies found that Balwin was likely responsible for the injuries and he was arrested.

    While Balwin was in the patrol car headed to the jail, he began kicking the partition of the patrol car, according to the report.

    Officials said Balwin then began making threats at the deputy and began to spit at the back of their head.

    Balwin has not been given a bond.
