DESTIN, Fla. (WKRG) — A man was rescued from a bucket truck that had its arm stuck in the air. A post from Destin Fire Rescue Friday evening shows the results of what they call a “high angle rescue.”

The post says the truck failed and a worker was stuck in the air in his bucket. Firefighters were able to position their ladder truck and stabilize the bucket truck. They then used their ladder and a harness to lower the worker to safety.

The post doesn’t say how the bucket truck’s arm got stuck and it doesn’t say exactly when and where the rescue took place. No injuries were reported. The post applauds the crew of Ladder 9 for their hard work.
