    Pace man wins Florida Lottery scratch-off

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A Pace, Florida man claimed a $1 million prize in the “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game” at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

    60-year-old James Wise chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

    Wise purchased the winning ticket at Publix at 4739 Highway 90 in Pace. Publix received $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

    The $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.5.
