    Woman killed in crash involving postal truck in Warren County

    WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 58-year-old woman was killed in a crash involving a postal truck in Warren County Sunday.

    The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 70 South and Bethany Road around 5:30 p.m.

    According to the crash report provided by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 44-year-old woman driving a USPS postal truck ran a stop sign and hit the passenger side of a 2022 Ford Expedition.

    The SUV rolled multiple times and the driver, 58-year-old Kendra Marquis, was ejected from the vehicle, according to the THP. Marquis died from her injuries.

    The report claims charges are pending against the driver but none have been filed so far.

    USPS released a statement to News 2, which reads:

    The Postal Service is deeply saddened by the recent incident in McMinnville, TN. We extend our sincere condolences to the family of the driver involved. At this time, local authorities continue to investigate the matter.
