LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – On the second to last day of the 6 Sports Two-A-Days tour around mid-Michigan, one of the most consistent teams in the area is featured.

Pewamo-Westphalia has made the postseason every year since 2004 and has had a winning record since 1996.

Jeremy Miller’s squad lost just two games last year and both were to North Muskegon, in the season opener and the regional championship game.

Well, the Pirates host North Muskegon to open the 2024 season and are excited for another shot.

Stop No. 18 takes us to Potterville where the Vikings are back to playing a full varsity schedule. in 2023, Potterville played three varsity games and four junior varsity games.

Jason Baker enters his second year leading the program and is looking forward to what his team can do after dominating at the JV level last year and returning many of the same players, like Keegan Bennett.

The junior running back had his sophomore season cut short after he fractured the vertebrae in his lower back when working on his family’s farm.
