PANAMA CITY, Fla. ( WMBB ) — Emerald Park, the brand new, $50,000,000 luxury apartment community, celebrated its ribbon-cutting Thursday afternoon with some special guests.

These condo-style apartments offer spacious layouts for one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.

The complex has been outfitted with a beautiful new pool. There are plenty of green spaces to lounge with family and friends and even a space for grilling.

Time Equities CEO Francis Greenburger says these luxury apartments, located on the corner of Front Beach Road and Laurie Avenue, create a place where neighbors and families can meet each other, create real relationships, and become a real community.

Greenburger spoke to us after the ribbon cutting about his hopes to raise the bar for future apartment developments in our area.

“We hope that by setting, perhaps, a little better standard, the next time somebody does a development they’re going to look at what we have here,” Greenburger said. “They’re going to know that if they want to attract the market, they have to do something that’s maybe more of the same or a little better.”

Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis spoke with us about what this $50,000,000 investment means for Bay County.

“Francis and his team came and made a significant investment. Now, it’s raised the property values of this,” Patronis said. “And so this is one way a project like this lowers the cost of living for Bay Countians.”
