LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WMBB) – Mosley High School Athletic Director Doug Lee has been promoted from interim head baseball coach to the Dolphin’s full-time head coach.

Lee was named the interim HC at the beginning of April when Mosley fired Hall of Fame coach, Bobby Howard. The Dolphins were 7-10 at the time of Howard’s firing.

Under Lee’s command, the Dolphins finished the season 3-6 (10-16 overall), missing the playoffs. It was the first time since 2011 that Mosley missed the playoffs and the first time since 2007 with a losing record.

In Lee’s first game as interim HC, Mosley handed their Bay County rivals, Arnold, their first loss of the season.

Lee also was the head baseball coach at Rutherford High School for five years before his time at Mosley.
