Murder investigation underway in Lynn Haven

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WMBB) – The Lynn Haven Police Department is investigating the death of a man in the 2600 block of E. 39th Plaza.

The victim was identified as Demarion Gray, 19, of Bay County.

Officers were called to the area to investigate shortly after 6 a.m. after a passerby discovered the victim lying on the ground next to a car in the roadway.

Investigators are working on this as a homicide and do not believe this was a random act of violence.

News 13 spoke to neighbors who said they were shocked to hear of the investigation. They said their street is fairly quiet and they’ve never seen anything like this in the nearly 40 years of living there.
