    Prep sports recap for Sept. 3, 2024

    PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — It was a good Tuesday night for the Morton and Dunlap athletics departments.

    Morton won its Mid-Illini Conference soccer opener, 9-0, over visiting Canton and the volleyball team won a three-set thriller over Geneseo. Dunlap won its conference soccer opener, 9-0, over visiting Pekin, the volleyball team swept Richwoods in its home opener and the girls tennis team swept East Peoria, 9-0.

    Washington soccer, Normal West volleyball, and Normal Community volleyball also won on Tuesday.
