Missing man found after four hour search and rescue mission

ROSE HILL, N.C. (WNCT) — A missing Rose Hill man was found Wednesday after a four hour search and rescue mission.

Around noon, Duplin County Emergency Communications received a call that a man had walked off from his home. The man’s family said he suffered from a health condition.

The man was found just after 4 p.m. in a wooded area. K-9 teams, drones and a helicopter were all used in the search. The man was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
