    Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point celebrates its 83rd birthday

    JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point is celebrating its 83rd birthday.

    Since its construction in 1941, they have provided the country with aviation support across almost all East Coast-based operations.

    They plan to continue growing, maintaining their readiness, and supporting the fight by creating new and stronger installations and capabilities.
