    Kinston man wanted for attempted murder in connection to shooting at plant and seed shop

    KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) — Law enforcement are looking for a suspect wanted for attempted murder and two other charges in connection to the Aug. 7 shooting at Brown’s Plant and Seeds on Highway 258 North.

    The warrants were taken out on Kevin Lee Morris, 41, of Kinston. The charges are:

    • Attempted murder
    • Robbery with a dangerous weapon
    • Possession of a stolen firearm

    Anyone with information on Morris’ location is asked to call (252)-559-6118.
