    ECU volleyball spikes North Carolina A&T to remain unbeaten in early season

    GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — ECU’s volleyball team took on North Carolina A&T Thursday night at Minges Arena.

    The Pirates got to 4-0 on the season with a 3-0 win over the Aggies. Ellie Pate led the team in kills with 10, Angeles Alderete added nine and Carlia Northcross chipped in eight.

    Payton Evenstad led the Pirates with 17 assists and Mackenzie Jefferson added 16. Lara Uyar had 15 digs and Alderete registered 11.

    Hannah Howell led the Aggies with 12 kills, Tyne Ross added 10 and Maya Johnson had three.

    Leonor Polezzi had 18 assists for N.C. A&T and Charlie Meadoweal led the team in digs with 10.
