    Boston's Taylor Wenczkowski Announced Retirement

    PWHL Boston's Taylor Wenczkowski has called it a career. The Boston forward announced her retirement on social media this week.

    "Thank you hockey," Wenczkowski wrote. "I’m excited to pursue my passion of coaching full time this season. Thank you to my coaches, family and teammates who have helped me create lifelong memories and friendships."

    Wenczkwoski played 16 regular season games for Boston this season and chipped in with two big goals in eight playoff games.

    Prior to the PWHL, Wenczkowski, 26, was a three year veteran of the PHF and NWHL. She won back-to-back Isobel Cup titles with the Boston Pride in 2021 and 2022. In 2022, scoring a professional career high 15 points in 20 games. She was also voted one of the PHF's Three Stars of the Season as voted by fans that season.

    At the NCAA level, Wenczkowski spent five seasons with the University of New Hampshire in her home state, captaining the Wildcats in her final season.
