KDPS: Juvenile arrested after drugs, guns found

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Kalamazoo authorities say a juvenile has been arrested amid an investigation into drug sales and illegally held guns.

Members of the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team, alongside the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team, on Thursday executed a search warrant on the 900 block of Neumaier Court near Jackson Street in Kalamazoo, according to a release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

Investigators say they seized 2.5 ounces of crack cocaine, 1 ounce of powder cocaine, 1 ounce of fentanyl, suspected fentanyl pills, a rifle, a handgun and suspected profits of drug sales.

The suspect, a juvenile whose name was not released Thursday, was arrested and taken to the county juvenile home, according to the release. Investigators say the suspect faces multiple felony charges.
