With just a bit over 20 days left until school's officially start the first day of practice for fall sports on Aug. 19, the preparation has begun for student-athletes.

One of the more crucial aspects students need to ensure is that they have an updated physical examination. The Bulldogs and Trojans are doing their part to best ready their students, as the two school's are offering fall sports physicals through Legacy Medical Group.

Woodburn High School will have physicals available on Wednesday, Aug. 14, while Kennedy High School will offer the service on Thursday, Aug. 15. Students will have from 3-6 p.m. to go and complete their physicals. Male and female providers will be available. The cost is $20, which will be donated back to each respective school district.

Cash or card will be accepted, with checks made payable to the appropriate school district. Students need to bring a completed sports physical form which can be accessed from the OSAA website. Versions in English and Spanish are available. The forms can also be picked up at one of the school district offices.
