Monroe to host annual back-to-school health fair July 13
MONROE — The Monroe County Health Department will host its annual back-to-school health fair July 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. With the theme being “Blast Off to Better Health,” the health fair will offer a number of services to children ages 3 to 18. Free services include hearing and vision screenings, back-to-school immunizations, sport physicals, and car seat checks. People can also participate in a raffle for prizes including bicycles, school supplies, and gift cards. Staff from the health department and other community agencies will also be hosting games. Each child will receive a grab bag that offers the chance of more prizes upon arrival. The health fair will also feature about a dozen booths about community resources, information, and services available to Monroe County residents.
