Let’s talk about the fireworks …
WOODSTOWN — Admittedly, I miss the convenience of walking across the street and seeing the fireworks at Marlton Park. That said, traditions evolve and change and I’m hearing the festival was really terrific. There were many enjoyable activities, and I am sure the dog-owners in the Manor and on Marlton are thankful their pooches didn’t spend the night in terror.

The Harrison Township Committee adopted four ordinances during their work session meeting on July 1 which focused on township management and projects. Fireworks Will Fill the Sky This Fourth of July
Families will have ample opportunities to look skyward this Fourth of July and see an array of fireworks celebrating the nation’s Independence Day. OLIPHANT & WARRINGTON MILL DAM UPDATES
WOOLWICH TWP. – Two dams in our area, Oliphant Mill (Porches Mill) Dam, as well as Warrington Mill Dam have been closed in recent years causing rerouting of traffic. According to Caryn Shinske of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, there is no set date for completion of the projects, but Oliphant Mill Road Dam is in the review stages with the Bureau of Dam Safety.
