Woodville ready to celebrate Fourth of July, village's biggest party of the year
Happy Fourth of July. I do hope you have a chance to enjoy some time with family and friends this holiday weekend, along with your favorite summertime picnic food. I’ll be hanging out with friends at Trail Marker Park, helping to throw our town’s biggest party of the year, aka the 82nd Woodville Fourth of July Celebration.
Water main break closes stretch of Woodville Road Monday afternoon
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A stretch of Woodville Road was closed Monday afternoon following a water main break. According to the City of Toledo, on July 1, there was a six-inch water main break on Woodville Road. Officials say if a boil advisory is necessary, the affected residents will be notified with instructions as well as the duration of the advisory.

Gibsonburg awarded $700K grant to revitalize downtown area
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Gibsonburg’s downtown area is getting a facelift thanks to a grant from ODOT’s Transportation Alternatives program. “We put in for $1.3 million, we were awarded $700,000 of that,” Gibsonburg’s mayor, Steve Fought said. “We’ll end up having to kick in a little bit on our end as well.”
