Harrison Student/Athlete Named to AAA Student Advisory Board
An area student joins a statewide board. The Arkansas Activities Association recently named their selections for the Circle K Student Advisory Council. The Association every year selects students entering their junior year from each Activity District of the state to serve a two-year term on the board that according to the AAA, meets on matters relating to maintaining and promoting perspective and scope for activities.
Groundbreaking for New ATU Ag Building August 15
Arkansas Tech University will host a groundbreaking event for the Farm Credit Agriculture Building on Thursday, Aug. 15. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the Arkansas Tech Farm, adjacent to the ATU Greenhouses and the Dr. James “Jim” Collins Agriculture Classroom. The public is invited to attend.
