Wooster Peace Collective has organized a Rally for Peace to be held 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at Wooster City Hall, 538 N. Market St.

Two hundred days after the Oct. 7 attacks, Israel continues to bombard Gaza in its war on Hamas. As a result over 37,000 Palestinians have died, and over 70,000 have been injured, and 70% of these casualties are women and children. More 15,000 children have been orphaned.

Israel continues to defy the international demands for a ceasefire issued by the UN security council, the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice.

The rally outside of City Hall is for peace and a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

After the rally the group will attend the Wooster City Council and ask it to support a ceasefire resolution.
