    North East Ohio Quilt Show , 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Wayne County Event Center, Wooster; 48 vendors and quilt exhibit from Tree City Quilt Guild. Free admission, free parking and a free raffle to win over $1,200 worth of vendor donated products. Classes and free lectures.

    Main Street Music! , 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, downtown Wooster. Main Street Music brings free live music entertainment to the pavilion at Wooster's Public Square.     Downtown Wooster Farmers' Market , 8 a.m.-noon, Saturday. Shop for the fresh produce, eggs, meat and poultry, honey, home-baked goods, fresh-cut flowers, wine tastings, artisanal crafts and more. Special Main Street Wooster Christmas in July events inlcuding Summer Santa (9-11 a.m.). Wilbur and Erynn Krebs, become an "official" Christmas Elf with Mrs. Claus (11a.m.-1 p.m.), Candy Cane Trail and Christmas sidewalk sales.     Firefly Festival , 4 p.m. Saturday, July 20, The Wilderness Center, 9877 Alabama Ave. SW, Wilmot. Explore the world of fireflies and other nightly creatures, combining education, hands-on activities and flashes of fun. Cost is $30 per carload, cash only. No pre-registrations. Firefly Festival is a fundraiser supporting The Wilderness Center’s mission through nature, conservation and education initiatives.

    Cruisin' In the 'Ville Car Show, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Smithville United Methodist, 243 N. Milton St., Smithville. Cars of multiple decades will be on display. Food available. Proceeds benefit local missions.

    Disney's "The Little Mermaid," 7 p.m. Saturdays, July 20 and 27, and Friday, July 26, and 2 p.m. Sundays, July 21 and 28, presented by Summer Stage Wooster at Wooster High School Performing Arts Center.     Lavender Trails , 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, 360 Collins Blvd., Orrville. Walk among the flowers, cut lavender, take pictures, and even buy plants to grow lavender. For more information visit www.lavendertrails.com . There will be food trucks and music 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

    Car Show , 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Smithville Community Historical Society, Mishler Weaving Mill lawn. The public is invited to take classic, vintage and muscle cars along with Model T's, Model A's and any other awesome and unique cars. Creamy Classics will offer ice cream sundaes, floats, cones and more. There will be live music. All buildings in the Pioneer Village will be open. The event is free.

    Christmas in July, 5 p.m. Thursday, July 24, Wayne County Fairgrounds, Wooster, fundraiser for the Wayne County Humane Society. Tickets are $15, which includes one alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink ticket. Food trucks, Christmas beer, unlimited drink cups, silent and live auction and games for adults and kids.     Rhinestone Roundup, July 24, Stables at Arrowhead Lakes, 1665 State Route 39, Millersburg; ladies' night fundraiser for United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties' involvement with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio. A table for eight is $400. Goal is to round up the most rhinestones through challenges. United Way Wayne and Holmes supports over 1,500 children in Holmes County by sending one book per month to enrolled children up to age 5.     Off The Vine: An Evening Pairing of Food and Wine , 5:30-8:30 Friday, July 26, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, at 714 N. Portage Path, Akron.
