WORCESTER — A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint on Lund Street early Thursday, not far from where three other drivers were held up in mid-August.

The latest robbery occurred about 1:15 a.m., according to police.

The driver was delivering a pizza when two men, one with a gun, demanded cash, police said. The driver handed over the money and the men ran away. The driver was not hurt.

It's the fourth holdup now being investigated by police. Each involved two men, one of whom carried a gun.

August 18, a driver was held up while making a food delivery on Esther Street. Two men, one with a gun, stole a cellphone and cash, police said. The robbery occurred shortly before 10 p.m.

August 14, a driver delivering food about midnight to an address on Doane Street was confronted by two men, one with a gun, police said. They demanded the driver's car keys and sped away in his vehicle.

August 12, a driver on Lund Street was confronted by two men about 1:30 a.m., police said. One had a gun. In this case, the perpetrators made off with the food and cash, police said.

The three streets — Esther, Doane and Lund — are within walking distance of each other.
