The 23rd Annual Ride for Life is coming up Saturday, Aug. 17 with all proceeds benefiting The American Cancer Society. Trial and error: WVU continues testing in-helmet communication system new to college football this year
The 2024 college football season will be the first with two major technological changes on the sidelines. Teams will have access to Microsoft tablets to get aerial looks at opposing team’s placements and results, similar to what NFL teams have had on their sidelines for years. Another addition to the college sideline — and the playing surface — that has been a mainstay at the next level is coach-to-player communication via speakers inside players’ helmets.
