    Woman taken to hospital after Clendenin motorcycle crash

    UPDATE (4:53 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22) – A woman thrown from her motorcycle in a crash in Clendenin has been taken to the hospital, according to Metro 911. Dispatchers say there is no word on her condition at this time.

    According to dispatchers, crews are working to clear the scene of the crash.


    CLENDENIN, WV (WOWK) — A woman was thrown from her motorcycle in a crash in Clendenin on Thursday afternoon, according to Metro 911.

    Metro 911 dispatchers say the call came in just after 4 p.m. The crash is in the 7300 block of Elk River Road North.

    There is no word on the woman’s condition and no one has been taken to the hospital.

    The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, the Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department and Kanawha County EMS are responding to the scene.
