Applications open for United Way of Central West Virginia’s Christmas Bureau

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — Families in Kanawha, Boone and Putnam counties looking for assistance this Holiday season can now apply through the United Way of Central West Virginia’s Christmas Bureau.

The Christmas Bureau is an organization where people can apply for food and toy assistance for the holidays.

United Way is working with more than a dozen agencies to help families in Kanawha, Boone and Putnam counties. Each agency has different application deadlines, so United Way encourages families to apply early.

You can apply for assistance online by clicking here . To complete the application, families must have a letter of verification showing they receive SNAP or Medicaid benefits.
