    3 displaced by Taunton house fire

    TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — A house fire that happened in Taunton on Saturday afternoon has displaced three people.

    Deputy Chief Matthew Arruda told 12 News that crews first got a call about a house fire on Kilmer Avenue around 12:37 p.m.

    The three people displaced were two adults and one child, Arruda said.

    According to Arruda, this fire began in the basement and the home suffered smoke damage.

    Nobody sustained any injuries.

    An investigation is underway to determine what caused the fire.
