    Police investigate stabbing in Providence

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a victim was reportedly stabbed in Providence Monday afternoon.

    The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. near the 7-Eleven at Dorrance and Fulton Streets.

    According to police, a 31-year-old individual was stabbed, sustaining one laceration to the left torso rib area.

    Police described the victim’s injuries as non-life threatening.
