WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — The Warwick Police Department is holding its National Night Out on Saturday after the event was previously postponed due to inclement weather.

Every year, police departments across the country hold National Night Out events to bring police and the community together under positive circumstances.

This weekend’s event will begin at 3 p.m. at Rocky Point Park and end with a fireworks display around 9 p.m.

Weather Now: What’s the forecast for Saturday night?

The department said there will be food trucks, a DJ, a bounce house with an obstacle course, face painting, and touch-a-truck opportunities. Parking for the event is free.
