    Heavy police presence in Cranston neighborhood

    CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Officers swarmed a Cranston neighborhood Tuesday evening.

    Dozens of police cruisers could be seen lining Harding Avenue, which is completely blocked off.

    Rhode Island State Police confirmed that the officers responded to reports of a person barricaded inside a home.

    It’s unclear if anyone has been injured.

    12 News has a crew on scene and will provide an update once more information is provided.
