PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — St. Raphael is looking to have a big year this year. The Saints went 4-2 last season after winning the Div. II title in 2022.

It’s a younger team, but the Saints feel that senior leadership will play a big role in keeping them on track.

“It’s a brand new team but everybody is just clicking,” said senior Daniel Ballah. “Don’t let the hard days win, that’s what we focus on.”

Ballah knows it will be a long, competitive season but he is confident in this group.

“If we stay together, be brothers, I believe we can reach the finish line,” he said.

St. Raphael opens its season hosting Coventry on Friday, Sept. 13.
