A man died after being stabbed multiple times in Penn Hills Thursday.

Allegheny County police said units were called to a house in the 100 block of Pennoak Drive. Dispatchers said crews responded at around 4:30 a.m.

First responders found a man who had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

The victim has been identified as Kenneth Reynolds, 56, of Pittsburgh.

No arrests have been made at this time.

“I just seen a whole bunch of cop cars and I was like, ‘oh,’ Patience Perry said. She and her mother saw police cars as they were heading to the bus stop this morning.

They moved to Penn Hills from New Orleans just three weeks ago. They live just a few doors down from where the stabbing happened.

“Me hearing there’s a stabbing like, it’s Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is boring. What is this? That’s crazy and sad,” Perry said.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
