Warm weather continues Sunday; isolated showers possible

It’ll be very warm, but dry and comfortable this evening. With mostly clear skies, low temperatures will be in the 50s near 60 degrees.

Expect temperatures to be warmer on Sunday. It’ll be bright with a mix of sun and afternoon clouds. The humidity will rise in the afternoon and evening. A system will pass by just to the west that could pop an isolated shower or storm into our area late in the afternoon or early evening. The chance for a shower or storm is low, but anything that does develop could become strong to severe and produce heavy rainfall, lightning and strong winds in those isolated locations.

It’ll be a muggy start to Monday, with clouds and the chance of a few showers early in the morning. Clouds will break for more sunshine later in the day and highs will reach the mid to upper 80s.

Hot conditions are expected Tuesday and Wednesday with highs near 90 degrees. There is a chance of a few thunderstorms in the area by midweek.
