FLOOD ADVISORY issued for multiple local counties, foggy start to Sunday

Storms are ending with the chance of a few showers this evening. Storm redevelopment is not out of the question for late this afternoon and early evening however the chance is low. The muggy conditions continue, and areas of fog will develop overnight, lows will be in the upper 60s.

A Flodo Advisory has been issued for parts of Allegheny, Westmoreland and Washington counties. The flood advisory is expected to be in place until at least 12:15 a.m.

A second FLOOD ADVISORY was also issued for parts of Allegheny, Butler and Beaver counties. Those advisories are expected to be in place until 12:30 a.m.

Early Sunday morning expect clouds and fog with gradual clearing later to a brighter sky for the afternoon, highs will reach the low to mid-80s. The humidity will decrease throughout the day. Clouds increase Sunday evening; a spotty shower can’t be ruled out with a passage of a cold front that will be followed by much drier air.

Labor Day will be sunny, cool and comfortable with highs in the mid-70s. This will start a bright, pleasant and dry stretch through most of the week.
